Great icons! I love the swirly purple in the shadows icon. I can only read the word "spider", though. Just fyi.

I suppose it depends on your monitor. I can't read the small text particularly well on my monitor at home, but I'm at school right now and I can read it fine. ::shrug:: :P

Yeah, you're right. I've noticed my monitor doesn't have the best contrast.

Thanks! Your friend can steal it if s/he likes--I don't remember clearly (it was a long time ago) but I think I just got it from google.
