Interesting justaposition of the subjects the last two weeks.

Or am I the only one who thinks so?

Anyway, I've had a busy week, so I've only now gotten to making my icons. I'm fairly pleased with them, so that's good.

There are giants in the sky

It says "giant in the playground," which seemed appropriate. The font is Garamond, I believe. And, as the challenge requirements didn't say anything about not using any other pictures, there's a picture of a playground behind Kosh, taken from Stock.Xchng. But I mean, come on, it just screamed out for an actual playground. *g*

This one says, "You'll never get rid of your shadow," from the song, "Me and My Shadow." I tried to make Morden himself look even shadowy than he already looked. Oh, and the font is Episode I.
*And yes, the cut text here is a very lame reference to The Princess Bride. I shouldn't be allowed to make LJ posts at this time of night day.... I shouldn't be allowed to make LJ posts at times like these. *g*

Gradients from the lovely crumblingwalls, and brushes by moroyasicons. My brother has my external drive right now, which is where I have many of my brushes, so I had to make due with the few I put in the default directories. No matter.

Hmm... you know, I seem to make a good deal of warm, orange-ish icons. I need to branch out a bit, don't you think?

I really like how you used "lighting" in the Kosh one.
Glad you like the lighting effect. I wanted to do something to make Kosh a bit more sinister and not so much a "being of light," since, well, the Vorlons and the Shadows alike have issues a-plenty.

(And a "Hee!" at your icon. I saw the movie Friday night and absolutely loved it.)
snagged the Kosh icon. I like the shadowy effect :)
I liked that effect, too. Enjoy the icon!
